Angelica and Daylynn met one year before dating. While Angelica was a senior in high school preparing for college soccer, Daylynn was in the mist of figuring out where she needed to be in life.
Let’s jump into a brief description of Angelica.
Angelica was 18 and living with her family throughout her high school career. She had a 90% scholarship for soccer and didn’t want anything to come in between that. Her main focus was to play soccer and become an attorney. Angelica had a very tough time but she made the best of what she had. She startedto pay for everything starting from the age of 13! Not to mention, she was very reliable, responsible, and a mature young adult.
Now a brief description of Daylynn.
Daylynn was 17 and currently spending the summer with her girlfriend in Dallas. Her senior year was just around the corner and she wanted to get the fun and games out of her system. Daylynn did not know what she wanted to pursue a career in nor did she want to attend college.
After meeting in a hookah bar and speaking to one another for the first time, Angelica decided she wanted to pursue more than a friendship with Daylynn. Although Daylynn was very interested in Angelica… she didn’t want to get hurt so she kept her distance. She didn’t want to get too attached to someone that wasn’t sure of herself. Daylynn ignored facebook comments, text messages, and phone calls from Angelica for a whole year!
As Angelica entered her freshman year of college she decided that she wanted to come out to her friends at school but the thought was too hard.
She was then asked by her close friend to go to Austin for a get together that they were having. Angelica took the next moment to pack and have a good weekend out with her friends. Daylynn was invited to the event as well and the rest is history.

After a couple of months of getting to know one another personally they fell deeply in love. Angelica could not handle being in a long distance relationship any longer. It started by her visiting Daylynn each weekend, then taking a day out of the week. After serious thought, Angelica told herself that she needed to move closer to the one girl she fell in love with. She quit soccer. She disappointed her father. She decided that the decision of pursuing a genuinely healthy relationship with Daylynn was her deepest desire.
The two have now been living with one another for two years and counting. Each moment that they spend together is remarkable. Memories are made each and every day. They live with their precious Pekingese named Bear.
